The landscape of American art and life changed dramatically when an influx of avant-garde artists helped to transform America into a mecca for artistic production and invention in the years following World War II. The Rocket Age features photographs, prints, and mixed media works that represent how art captured, shaped, and defined American life in the mid- to late-20th century.
