Since 1995, Danú's virtuosi have delighted audiences worldwide with their mix of ancient Irish music and new repertoire, featuring players on flute, tin whistle, fiddle, button accordion, bouzouki, and vocals (Irish and English). Strings Magazine describes their performances as “impressive, immersive and uniquely and unmistakably Irish.” After nine albums, Danú (hailing from Ireland and named for the ancient Celtic goddess) has toured extensively across Europe, the Middle East and North America, with their live performances often broadcast on RTE, TG4, BBC, NPR and CBC.
