The powerhouse all-male Argentinian dance company Che Malambo performs a percussive dance and music spectacle created by renowned choreographer Gilles Brinas that celebrates the unique South American cowboy tradition of the gaucho. “The men dance with a power and passion that builds into a kind of ecstasy…” (The Boston Globe) Malambo began in the 17th century as competitive duels that tested skills of agility, strength and dexterity amongst the gaucho.
