JMU’s premier dance ensemble takes to the outdoors to present Fig Leaves and Open Letters, a concert featuring dances choreographed by the Virginia Repertory Dance Company (VRDC) members and directors Ryan Corriston and Matt Pardo. The company members will present pieces inspired by their research, VRDC’s new mission statement, and the social reckoning of the past year. Dancers spent the fall and spring considering their experiences and privileges at JMU, which informed their work. VRDC Program and Mission Statement

This event is free. Donations are encouraged and will support student scholarships in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
