This celebration of African American abstract painters from the 1950s to present day features artists Norman Lewis, Rico Gatson, Nanette Carter, Ronald Walton, Lisa Corinne Davis, Lamerol Gatewood, Erika Ranee, and Susan Zurbrigg, among others. The exhibition showcases cross-generational dialogues on race and identity as well as the dynamics of pattern, color, rhythm, and gesture.
