Micheal Boyd is a Steinway artist who has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and at guest recitals across Europe and the United States, including Carnegie Hall. A CD collaboration on Igor Stravinsky’s Petrouchka and The Rite of Spring for Two Pianos with Joel Schoenhals, professor of piano at Eastern Michigan University, drew high praise from American Record Guide: “The results are most impressive and attest to the musicianship and technical skills of these artists.” A professor of piano at the University of Toledo, Boyd holds both master’s and doctoral degrees from the Eastman School of Music.
