All performances are sold out, but a limited number of obstructed seats are still available by phone (540/568-7000) or in person only. Join us for a “wildly-entertaining” (New York Daily News) musical showstopper featuring sizzling songs, dazzling dance numbers and a tantalizing tabloid tale! Set in Chicago during the Jazz Age, the satirical story follows chorus girl Roxie Hart who murders a lover and convinces her husband to take the rap… until he learns he has been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and Velma Kelly, another Merry Murderess, vie for the spotlight and headlines—ultimately uniting in search of the American dream: fame, fortune and acquittal. Chicago made its Broadway premiere in 1975 and features a sassy score and Fosse-inspired jazz dance style. It was revived on Broadway in 1996 and won six Tonys, including Best Revival of a Musical. Don’t miss this razzle-dazzle smash hit featuring students in JMU’s School of Theatre and Dance and School of Music! Contains adult language, sexual content, and haze.

CHICAGO is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. www.concordtheatricals.com
