Dr. Jamison Walker commands an impressive vocal range and an extensive repertoire. From opera and oratorio to musical theatre and pops, Walker has performed in recital, opera, symphonic, and academic settings nationally and internationally across the United States and in Europe and Asia. Walker is equally at home in tenor repertoire ranging from Bach to Wagner and Mozart to Britten. He has recently been heard in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci with First Coast Opera and Opera in the Ozarks, Luigi in Puccini’s Il Tabarro with Opera in the Ozarks, and as the tenor soloist in Bach’s St. John Passion at Duke University. Walker is in demand as a singer, pedagogue and clinician. He joined the faculty at James Madison University in 2018. Full bio
