The Last Five Years

Combining pop, jazz, Latin, blues, and classical, The Last Five Years is a contemporary musical by three-time Tony-Award® winner Jason Robert Brown. Set in the vibrant backdrop of New York City, the story spans five years of one couple’s relationship. As the musical unfolds, Cathy moves backward in time to the beginning of their relationship, while Jamie moves forward to the end. They meet only once: in the middle. The Last Five Years is directed, designed, and produced by JMU students. Contains adult language and content.
