Éva Polgár is a renowned pianist with a diverse career spanning recitals, concertos, chamber music, and education. She has performed worldwide, earning accolades as Hungary Foundation's Cultural Ambassador of the Year. Notable venues include Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center, and she's collaborated with conductors like Tamás Vásáry and Horst Förster. Polgár's cross-disciplinary work with visual artist Sándor Vály led to experimental music albums under Ektro Records. She's also a dedicated educator and adjudicator, serving at prestigious institutions and competitions. Polgár holds a Master of Music in piano performance and piano pedagogy degrees from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the University of North Texas. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Liszt Society, showcasing her commitment to music education and promotion.
