Friends of the Arts and Design
The College of Visual and Performing Arts is thrilled to introduce the Friends of the Arts and Design, a new giving society providing essential financial support for student scholarships and CVPA programming. Members will include alumni, current students, family members, and community members – all who are passionate supporters with an interest in promoting and sustaining the arts and design at JMU. Benefits range from complimentary tickets to exclusive invitations and more.

Name a Seat
Demonstrate your passion for the arts at Madison or honor someone who has made a difference in your life by naming a seat. Your donation will directly support student scholarships in the performing arts. Name one seat for $1,000 or two seats for $1,500. A plate on the back of the seat will recognize your gift. Choose between the Concert Hall for large ensemble music performances or the Mainstage Theatre for theatrical and dance performances. Learn More and Give
Dr. George E. Sparks Scholarship Endowment
Visual and Performing Arts programs are highly competitive. The Dr. George E. Sparks Scholarship Endowment allows JMU to recruit the best and brightest students. Increasing endowment funds for the College will provide long-term security for scholarship awards into the future, and help JMU to establish a recruiting advantage and attract the most talented artists.
