Red Wing presents the 4th annual Winter Roots Concert featuring The Steel Wheels and The Lone Bellow.  The Steel Wheels have spent 20 years crafting their own distinct style of American roots music. After two decades of making music together, The Steel Wheels are still growing, still pushing, still at it, and they’re marking the occasion with the release of their 9th studio album, The Steel Wheels. The Lone Bellow, out of Nashville, embarks on a bold new chapter while honoring the deep bonds that have defined their journey. With their upcoming sixth studio album, What A Time To Be Alive, they reaffirm their commitment not just to making music, but to building community—on stage, in song, and around the table. 

Dr. Kirsten Ann Blair, soprano, enjoys a vibrant musical lifestyle as a singer and educator. Dr. Blair is a versatile performer, having recently participated in opera, classical, and contemporary performances on both national and international stages

Steinway Artist Eric Ruple joined the piano faculty at James Madison University in 1987. He enjoys an active career as a solo and chamber musician, including several performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and  Steinway Hall in New York.
